My interpretation of the end.

What happens is he goes back in time and convinces himself to not build the time machine. But if the time machine was never built, he never goes back in time to stop himself. Therefore creating a never ending paradox, so the universes only choice was to erase the time machine from existence.

The animation is great. The idea of a stick fight is overused. But i think you have potential. Try using sound effects and background music.
